The school was known as Dynevor Senior Comprehensive School, Mr. W. D. Hubert Davies became the ninth headmaster in the September of this year.

Rhossili Outdoor Pursuits October 1979
Pupils spent a week at Rhossili completing a range of challenges each day. On the riding day pupils were encouraged to ask for Morgan, the best horse in the Llangennith stables, only to find that Morgan was a large, over-friendly goat! Staff included Mr B. Evans and Mr P. Myers, along with Lyndsay and Rosemary the regular outdoor education staff. What memories do you have of your week at Rhossili? Photos supplied by Mr Myers.

Robert Mitchell (1972-78) supplied the names of cast members Ian Kennedy who played Joseph, Kevin Johns who played Potiphar and Tim Andrew. He, along with John Andrew and Gareth Seymour were responsible for the lighting.
School Play A Midsummer Night’s Dream
The play was performed in December 1979. Cast names given so far: Simon Bevan, Carl Hogan, Paul Nedin, William Nedin, Julie Williams, Wendy Williams and possibly Colin Radford.
