Prof. Kenneth Walters, 1934-2022, attended Dynevor and Swansea University where he gained D Phil. under Prof. Oldroyd. Kenneth lectured at Aberystwyth University, specialising in Rheology; making a number of original contributions on behaviour of non-Newtonian fluids. He was granted a Personal Chair at Aber., and elected FRS in 1991.
Kenneth married an ex-Rag Queen with whom he had three children.
A great friend of the late Dr John Protheroe, ex-Chemistry teacher at Dynevor. They were great friends and rivals at Fives.
