In this year the school was known as Swansea Municipal Secondary School, the Headmaster was Mr Samuel Roberts.

The following original photograph, supplied by Mr A. Smith, can also be seen in the School Magazine, Volume 5 January 1911, p. 2. The editorial describes Mr Roberts’ service as Headteacher; he retired due to ill health at the end of the academic year in 1910. The photograph in the magazine, stated as having been ‘taken many years ago’, was supplied by Mr Burns who was on the staff throughout Mr Roberts’ tenure.
