Special outing to London, March 29th, 1997
Dawn Foley and Vivien Lake, guests of The Really Useful Theatre Company visited the Lyceum Theatre to see Steve Balsamo, an ex pupil of Dynevor, perform in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Jesus Christ Superstar. Dawn and Vivien, along with Mr. A. Smith, Headmaster and Mrs J. Kerslake, Head of Drama were given a backstage tour and an opportunity to meet Steve.

Trip to see Jesus Christ Superstar 12th July, 1997
Mrs Judith Kerslake (Head of Drama) organised a school trip to a matinee production of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ at the Lyceum Theatre. Afterwards Steve Balsamo, who played the lead role, met with staff and pupils on the theatre’s stage to chat about technical aspects of the performance and sign programmes.
Pupils who attended include:
Diane Barwick, Gareth Thomas, Maryce Kivell, Behnaz Akghar, Karen Lynn, Kelly Winter, Debbie Beckers, Lisa Woodbury Gareth (?), Catherine Thomas and Lizzie Kivell. Mrs Kerslake’s daughters Emma and Laura are also included.
